The bilingual website will serve as a platform to promote IHRC in the HR industry and provide updates on this strategic event. Visitors to the site will find extensive information on the conditions of participation in IHRC, registration, programme, topics of discussion, procedures for stand bookings and hotel booking facilities along with a special section for the media.
Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Awar, Director-General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources said: "It is essential to adopt the latest information and communications technology to maximise participation and impact of IHRC 2011, given its strategic relevance to the local, regional and international HR industry. Therefore, we have developed an advanced website that serves as an interactive forum for HR experts and professionals, keeping them updated while also building momentum towards the event.
The website has special pages for registration of individuals as well as groups and sponsorship opportunities. A downloadable brochure with conditions for stand booking and available exhibition packages is also available.
Information on the conference programme as well as regulations and timelines on submission of presentations are posted on the website. Speakers can upload their bios directly on to the website.
Features in the media section of the website include media registration, press releases, fact sheets and speaker bios.
Held under the theme "Human Resources: The Sustainable Capital for the New Era", IHRC will highlight the most relevant human resource development issues in the present global economic context to provide governments with critical insights in designing sustainable HR strategies and policies.
Launched as an annual event, IHRC aims to strategically position FAHR as a vehicle of positive change and to create a platform for HR leaders and professionals to debate sustainable human resources development. It will also facilitate transfer and exchange of valuable HR knowledge in the region and networking among HR practitioners.
