Vivien Sheriff, famed for designing a bespoke fascinator for Kate Middleton to wear on her first official royal engagement, has appointed ToraTora the exclusive agent of Vivien Sheriff Millinery in the Middle East.
Tora Sweetman, Owner and Founder of ToraTora provides European boutique brands to the region said, “I am absolutely delighted to bring Vivien Sheriff Millinery to Dubai. Tora adds,”I love the individuality and attention to little details which Vivien incorporates in her pieces. It keeps giving me goose bumps when I talk about the piece which she made for Kate, a special hat, made by a special lady; for a very special soon-to-be Princess”.
Tora was inspired by the wearing of hats from an early age, when she first attended the Royal Enclosure to Royal Ascot with her parents at the age of 16. I was bowled over by so many beautiful glamorous women, wearing the most stunningly gorgeous hats. In her twenties, Tora had her own Fashion Radio programme in Bristol, Uk, featuring hats on many of her broadcasts.
Tora is thrilled to also be included at the Bur Juman Millinery Exhibition from Sunday 20th March until midday 26th March, where she will be displaying and selling Vivien Sheriffs S/S11 Collection of unique hats, headpieces and fascinators. We will be also taking orders for hats and fascinators for the Royal Wedding on 29th April as well as discussing individual orders with clients for summer weddings”.
