Ramada Downtown marks Independence Day of India and Pakistan
An art competition depicting peace and freedom was organised for the hotel associates
Dubai, UAE (August 22, 2012) – Ramada Downtown Dubai, located in Dubai’s most prestigious and vibrant district, celebrated the Independence Day of Pakistan and India by organising a drawing competition amongst hotel employees with the theme ‘Unity of Two Nations’.
The activity, which is carried out in groups, was aimed at enhancing the creativity, artistic talents and team work of the employees. The initiative was well received by the staff and winners of the competition received special prizes from the hotel management.
Wael El Behi, General Manager, Ramada Downtown, commented: “We would like to extend greetings of peace and prosperity to our employees from India and Pakistan, who greatly contribute to the success of our organisation. We want to impart the message ‘United We Stand, Divided We Fall’ through this joint celebration and encourage a harmonious working environment among our staff. The Independence Day celebration of Pakistan and India, which falls every 14th and 15th August, respectively, commemorates liberation and sovereignty of the two nations.
