Hot weather in general and hazy at times during daytime, and partly cloudy over the eastern areas is the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology’s (NCMS) forecast for Eid Al Fitr.

“The winds will be light to moderate in general, freshening at times, causing blowing dust/sand and reducing horizontal visibility. The direction will be easterly-southeasterly, becoming northerly to northwesterly over some of western internal areas by late afternoon, becoming easterly to southeasterly by night and early morning,” the NCMS said.

The relative humidity is likely to increase over some coastal areas especially westward during night and early morning.

Sea will be slight to moderate, with wave height 1 - 3 ft on coast and up to 5 ft offshore on Sunday and Monday. —
