DUBAI — The Dubai Early Childhood Development Centre (DECDC), a centre for the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai, organised a series of campaigns to raise awareness on autism, reaching out to hospitals and government entities.

 

The campaign included a number of educational lectures containing a comprehensive definition on autism, its syndromes and causes.

The importance of early intervention, the best ways to diagnose 
and deal with children with autism and the key role the family and 
community can play were highlighted. —Wam
