Society distributes over 16,000 Iftars a day

The Dar Al Ber Society, as part of its Ramadan activities, has started distributing over 16,000 free Iftar meals on a daily basis in the emirates of Dubai, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

Muslim brothers breaking their fast. 
The meals distributed at the tents of mosques, labour accommodations and residential areas are meant to hit more than 470,000 by the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

“We are dealing with some of the best eateries and restaurants in the country to provide high quality meals,” said Hashim Al Hashimi, Deputy Chairman of Dar Al Ber Society. “The society has installed several large tents at the Dubai International City, Nad Al Shiba, Al Khalil Ibrahim Masjid - Bur Dubai, Shaikh Hamdan Masjid, Islamic Information Centre-Al Dhiyafa road, Sewage Network’s labour accommodation, RTA’s Al Khwaneej accommodation and many other places,” he added.
