Concorde Fujairah Hotel hosts event for Make-A-Wish Foundation
Various entertainment activities and gifts for children of Fujairah
Dubai, UAE (July 22, 2012) – Concorde Fujairah, a luxury accommodation in the heart of the city, recently hosted an event by the Make-A-Wish Foundation attended by H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, a member of the Board of Directors, Make-a-Wish Foundation in the UAE and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
The event held at the Layalina ballroom of the hotel offered a fun-filled atmosphere. There were balloons, magic shows, coloring books and face painting. Mascots were also present to entertain the children. H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan distributed gifts and granted the wishes of the children with special needs, aiming to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
Mohamed Fekry, General Manager, Concorde Fujairah Hotel, said: “We are very pleased to host this event for the Make-A-Wish Foundation for the children of Fujairah. This is a very good cause and we are very much privileged to be part of their experience. I am sure that they were very happy and really enjoyed the activities and entertainment. The Make-A-Wish Foundation was established in 2003, since then it has granted the wishes of over 600 children with life threatening medical conditions. It is the first time that the Foundation has held such event for the children of Fujairah, after expanding from the two main branches at Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
