Zayed House for orphans in Afghanistan celebrates passing out of second batch
Ibrahim Bumelha, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, has affirmed that the Foundation would spare no effort to offer spiritual and financial support for education within the UAE and overseas.
Bumelha said the Foundation would build schools and provide equipment and stationeries to the vital sector.
A graduation ceremony was held and attended by representatives of the Foundation in Afghanistan, top Afghani government officials, scholars and notables.
Nearly 19 graduates received certificates and other 140 top achievers were honoured.
Haji Agha Lali, a member of the Kandahar provincial council, paid gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai for his generous assistance.
The 31-class Zayed Orphans’ House provides primary and secondary education to 1032 students.
