YTCA lads to tour United Kingdom

DUBAI — Young Talents Cricket Academy (YTCA) will embark on its 13th annual tour to the United Kingdom jointly organised by YTCA and Durham County Cricket Club.

 

A special cap ceremony was held at the Pakistan Association to wish the players the very best for the tournament by chief guest, Consul General of Pakistan Tariq Iqbal Soomro and Dr. Faisl, general secretary of Pakistan Association, Dubai.

Under-12, under-14 and under-18 teams from YTCA will participate in this tournament along with local teams, Durham Academy, Gateshead, Hetton Lyons, South Shield, Sunderland Sacristion, Sedgefield and Philadelphia CC. Etihad Airways will be a co-sponsors for this tour.

Head coach Shahzad said that the players had been undergoing extensive training with touring coach Vishan Fernando and Tanvir Mehandi. Earlier in the month, ex-India cricketer Madan Lal also trained the players and encouraged the teams to give their best performances
