Al Murooj Rotana Dubai Squash Team Wins National Squash Tournaments
Al Murooj Rotana Dubai takes great pride in the recent triumph of the hotel’s squash team at the national squash open tournaments held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi recently. The team, who had been training at the Al Murooj Rotana squash courts since the early stages of their active involvement in the sport dominated the first part of the A2 Squash Championship Series.
Adil Maqbool, the current number one squash player in the UAE won the men’s division while Inessa Kardapolova took the ladies title, followed by Rajini Ghosle, the country’s current number one under the age of 17 and number two under 19. All three players are highly important members of the of the Al Murooj Rotana squash team. Maqbool Khawaja, the winning team’s coach commented, “This triumph is indeed a great achievement for the team and for each of them as individuals. Squash plays a significant role in their lives and as their coach, I cannot help but be proud. These awards were brought about by years of hard work, and we all feel very pleased that our countless of hours of training are always complemented by the excellent facilities at Al Murooj Rotana Dubai.
