Sharjah targets illegal tents
The Sharjah Municipality had recently organised an inspection campaign in the desert targeting illegally erected tents to ensure environment protection.
Omar Al Sharji, Head of the Inspection Operations, said that the municipality had earlier issued warnings to owners of a large number of tents to remove it as soon as possible but unfortunately some of them did not respond to the municipality’s orders. This prompted the civic body to remove large number of tents during the campaign.
