Maxtalent trounce 
KWA Thema

KWA Thema were defeated by eight wickets by team Maxtalent Global in the second league match of the Maxtalent Global Challenge Cup — South Africa at the Willomore Eastern Park in Johannesburg with much of the credit going to the superb bowling performances of Kapil Ramani and Marlon Dsouza, who took 10 wickets amongst themselves.

 

Maxtalent Global Challenge Cup — South Africa is a part of cricket development overseas project of Maxtalent Global in continuation with UAE, India, Qatar, Oman and is organised for the first time in South Africa. This tournament is played in a 50-over format with four teams Wattcville Cricket Club, KWA Thema Cricket Club, EG Jansen School and overseas team Maxtalent Global participating.

Maxtalent Global elected to field first as skipper Jay Joshi saw something in the wicket for the pace bowlers. He was proved right as Kapil and Marlon D’Souza tore apart the batting line up of KWA Thema CC. Kapil continued his brilliant form with the ball picking up 6 wickets for just 9 runs. Kapil now has 11 wickets in two matches giving away just 14 runs.

Brief Scores: Maxtalent Global beat KWA Thema by 8 wickets: KWA Thema: 55 all out in 14 overs (Bryan 14,Albert 13, Kapil 6 for 9 runs, Marlond 4 for 21 runs) vs Maxtalent Global: 56 for 2 in 8 overs (Kapil 18,Marlon 11, Tarun 10, Albert 2 for 4 runs). Player of the match: Kapil.
