RCA grants $1m medical aid to Palestine
The Palestinian Minister of Health, Dr Hani Abdeen, said that the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) was the first organisation which responded to the call of the Palestinian authority in providing medicines and medical supplies worth one million dollars for the treatment of cancer, diabetic and kidney patients.
He said this during a ceremony of the delivery of aid shipments from the RCA here in Ramallah. He said this humanitarian gesture could not be forgotten by the Palestinian people, who are the long time beneficiaries of UAE aid.
He also extended thanks on behalf of Palestinian people for the leadership and people of UAE for their humanitarian role.
