Mohammed orders 250 new houses for Emiratis in Hatta

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, ordered the Dubai Municipality on Tuesday to build 250 houses for Emiratis in Mushrif area of Hatta.
Shaikh Mohammed gave the order during an inspection tour of Hatta, where he viewed various services rendered to citizens by different government departments and bodies.
At Hatta Municipality, Shaikh Mohammed was briefed by Dubai Municipality’s Director-General Engineer Hussain Nassir Lootah about the services rendered by the civic body to citizens as well as the service and development projects being implemented by the municipality to provide decent standards of living to the UAE citizens.
Shaikh Mohammed also visited the General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs centre in Hatta, where he was received by Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Lt-Gen. Saif Abdullah Al Shafar and Director of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai Major-General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri.
After that Shaikh Mohammed visited Hatta border post which connects UAE with Oman, where he inspected a Dh35 million new building project, expected to be ready by the end of current year.
Shaikh Mohammed was accompanied by Director of Dubai Ruler’s Court Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director of Dubai Ruler’s Office Lt-Gen. Musabbah Rashid Al Fattan, Mohammed Juma Al Naboodah and Dubai’s Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman.
