Dubai Autism honors Turkish Consulate
Dubai June 20, 2012: Dubai Autism Center's management team headed by Mr. Mohammad Al Emadi, Board Member and Director General of the Center, paid a visit to the Consulate of Turkey in Dubai to present a certificate of appreciation to the Consul General on behalf of the Dubai Autism Center's board members.
Ms. Elif Ülgen, Consul General of Turkey, commented that she is very proud of the Turkish Community in the UAE for supporting the Dubai Autism Center, which fosters a noble cause. She said “I have a lot of confidence in the center and we have witnessed the warmth and sympathy of the DAC authorities towards the beautiful children in the center who are in need of close interest and love,”
"It has been a wonderful occasion that through the Turkish Children’s Day celebrations, those children under the care of DAC are benefiting from our efforts," She added.
Al Emadi stressed on the importance of maintaining established links with the Turkish community.
“The long term support of the Turkish Consulate and the Turkish Business Council has been a tremendous asset to the Center's efforts for the past two years... the center is constantly seeing the fruits of their commitment and dedication to the cause," he said.
H. Tuba Stadtmiller, Turkish Business Council Secretary General said “We are very happy to see organizations such as Dubai Autism Center, working effectively to support children and especially children with special needs. As the Turkish Business Council, we believe in the importance of giving back to the community we live in, contribute as much as possible in various areas. We are very proud to be one of the organizers of the Children's Day event, which brings children together from around the world and to support important organizations such as DAC”.
At the end of the visit, Mr. Al Emadi presented a certificate of appreciation and the "DAC 10th Anniversary Trophy" to the Consul General expressing his hope for further expansion of cooperation.
