14 June 2012 (Dubai, United Arab Emirates):* Candidates for one of the world’s top MBA programmes are being invited to attend an MBA Information Session in Qatar organised by Manchester Business School Middle East Centre. The session will be held in Doha and will be hosted by the CEO and Chief Global Officer of Manchester Business School, Mr Nigel Banister. The Information Session is free of charge and open to the public with pre-registration required.

Wednesday 20th June 2012 - Doha; 6.30-8.00pm at the Doha Marriott Hotel (Salon II, Al Ruwaq Ballroom)
The information session is open to the public and free of charge - attendees should send confirmation in advance to mbsevents@mbs-worldwide.ae

Manchester Business School (MBS) Middle East Centre, based in Dubai Knowledge Village, opened in 2006 and now supports more than 1,200 part time MBA students across the Middle East, including around 75 students based in Qatar. The centre is the largest in the school’s international network and students are all experienced working professionals - many are in middle or senior management positions with multinational companies, consultancies and local/regional organisations. The Manchester Global MBA is triple accredited by AMBA, EQUIS, and AACSB and offers a choice of four learning pathways – general, finance, engineering, and project management – and a guaranteed 250 hours of contact time with faculty in workshops hosted in Dubai.

Ms Randa Bessiso, Director – MBS Middle East, comments: “We are delighted that our global CEO is personally hosting this MBA information session in Qatar, which reflects the importance of the country to the MBS Middle East Centre. It offers a great opportunity to find out more about the part time MBS Global MBA and the four learning pathways available. Our CEO will also have the chance to meet many of current MBA students in Qatar as well as new candidates. We are looking for candidates in Qatar who are able to meet the same high entry standards that MBS applies worldwide; in return, we award the same Manchester MBA degree from the University of Manchester. We already have a strong cohort of around 75 MBA students and alumni in Qatar, which continues to attract highly qualified professionals from around the world, to work alongside local Qatari professionals. This makes Qatar a very interesting market for our part time MBA programmes.”
