Sandstorm sees Jazeera flights diverted from Kuwait

Four flights on budget carrier Jazeera Airways had to be diverted from their final destination of Kuwait City yesterday due to poor weather conditions, the airline confirmed .
In an emailed correspondence, a spokesperson for the Kuwait-based airline said services to the Gulf state were forced to land in Dubai and Bahrain amid severe sandstorms.
"We had four flight diversions on flights from Damascus, Deirrzzor, Cairo and Alexandria yesterday due to extremely bad weather at Kuwait Airport," the spokesperson said.
