Dubai Outsource Zone Supports Middle East Call Centre Conference and Exhibition as Outsourcing Partner
Dubai-UAE: 3 June, 2012 - The UAE attracts multilingual talent from around the globe. The greatest beneficiary of the trend is the outsourcing industry, which can provide customer support services to geographies across the world. This ability is an important asset that complements the country's strategic geographic location and superior infrastructure attracting global enterprises seeking customer support services to the UAE, according to Ammar Al Malik, Director Operations, Dubai Outsource Zone .
Malik added: "The UAE market is primarily focused on providing customer support to the financial services, telecoms, and travel and hospitality sectors. These industries, which are key to the country's economy, have found an ideal solution in the growth of the domestic sector. The public sector is also resorting to outsourcing services, particularly call centres, as they help provide support to residents for diverse government services. The use of e-government services and alternate channels of delivery have contributed to the growth of the outsourcing segment and consequently the country's economy."
Malik's comments came ahead of Dubai Outsource Zone 's participation as the outsourcing partner at the Middle East Call Centre (MECC) conference and exhibition, which is set to be held from 4-7 June at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. During a key session at the event Ammar Al Malik will highlight the opportunities and challenges faced by the contact centre industry offering case studies of success stories from Dubai Outsource Zone 's partners.
The event is organised by Insights, the only call centre dedicated professional services organisation in the Middle East. MECC 2012 offers the region's leading call centre professionals an expert-led forum to gain insights on the industry's latest trends, technologies and outline of the development plans of major industry players in addition to discussing and identifying solutions to common issues.
Dominick Keenaghan, President at Insights, said: "Enterprises based in the region are highly focused on customer-centred technology and service options with the exponential growth ofclient expectations over a period of time. MECC 2012 is, therefore, aiming to promote the culture of outsourcing and customer advocacy. Global industry experts will highlight the steps that organisations can pro-actively take to effectively realise business opportunities by adopting a customer-centric approach."
