Ajman University's 20th Commencement to Celebrate 1768 New Graduates

 Ajman University of Science and Technology (AUST) is celebrating the twentieth cohort of graduates in its two campuses at Ajman and Fujairah on May 29-30 and June 5-6 respectively.

Ajman campus' Commencement will be held under the patronage of H. H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman .

Equally, Fujairah campus' Commencement will be patron by H. H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah. The two graduation ceremonies will be held in the presence of Dr. Saeed Abdullah Salman, AUST President.

This year AUST in Ajman and Fujairah is rejoiced to unleash a new batch of 1768 men and women who will soon join some 24000 of their fellow alumni. The University has formed an organizing committee to carry out and supervise the preparations for this very special event. The committee has almost completed all the necessary arrangements including the management of the Commencement venue, preparation of graduation certificates and sending out invitations to guests, graduates' families as well as to AUST faculty and staff members.

The Commencement at Ajman campus will celebrate the graduation of 1271 bachelor's and master's graduates who completed the requirements of their degrees in the 44 programs offered by the University's eight colleges of Information, Mass Communication and Humanities, Engineering, Business Administration, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Law, Information Technology, and Education and Basic Sciences; and its Institute of Environment, Water and Energy.

Speaking of this Commencement, Thamer Salman, the University's Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Chairman of the Commencement Organizing Committee, said: "We are delighted to share with our graduates and their families the joy of this long awaited moment which crowns years of hard work and perseverance. It is a real honor and pride for our university to produce a new generation of highly qualified and well cultured graduates who are keen on using the extensive knowledge, they have acquired to serve and lead their nation."
