Avnet holds “HP 3PAR Academy” for its channel partners

Avnet Technology Solutions, an IT solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), recently held a special training program on HP 3PAR Storage Solutions for its channel partners in the region.
Avnet have been using 3PAR since 2010. It is used as the primary storage solution for internal IT within the Avnet Technology Solutions organization, with a total of 37TB’s installed. Knowing about the excellent performance of 3PAR and its high potential for the ME Region, Avnet now promotes the solution within the channel.
As part of Avnet’s Value Add Program in the Middle East Region, Avnet 3PAR Academy is designed specifically to help channel partners to capitalize on the fast-growing storage market that supports data center, virtualization, and cloud computing solutions. The 2-day-agenda contained sales focused presentations as well as technical interactive workshops for selected presales consultants. The training was hosted by Avnet in association with HP and Brocade.

The Avnet 3PAR Academy is one of many initiatives we are taking to enable our partners to build a strong knowledge on the products they are selling. We can only be as successful as our partners. Offering high quality trainings to our partners is part of Avnet’s investment in the channel.
The academy discussed the competitive landscape and technical advantages of HP 3PAR Utility Storage. It also provided hands-on-training to its partners on HP 3PAR F 200 while describing the benefits and seamless scalability of HP 3PAR technology specifically in the datacenter, cloud and virtualization environment.
All of the attending channel partners felt that this training really added value to their business and helped them to understand the product and technology much better. They added that high quality trainings in small groups are very rare in the channel, especially as the Avnet 3PAR Academy was free of cost for all attendees.
